At the October 2008 Idaho Library Association Conference, the Idaho Commission for Libraries with funding from the Institute of the Museum and Library Services and partnering with the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific NW Region &#040;NN/LM PNR&#041;, provided a half&#045;day workshop on community assessment and accessing consumer health resources. It was a packed agenda with presentations from Idaho libraries who had successfully integrated consumer health into their programming, <br />mapping the library and the community&#039;s consumer health assets, and preparing a plan for implementing programming.<br /><br />At the end of the day, a Health Fair was held to showcase Idaho consumer health information providers.<br /><br />Handouts and related documents can be found under the document tab.
